Across Redditch and Bromsgrove General Practices are working together to provide further appointments with GPs and Nurses on evenings and weekends . These can be accessed via the HUB and booked through your usual practice. The Extended Access HUB is currently held at a central location and this will be St Stephens Surgery in Redditch. We will hold at least one extended access clinic each month for further details please ask  at reception.

As part of the Extended Access Hub we are now also offering an early morning bloods clinic held a St Stephens Surgery this will be held one day a week, subject to change for further information and to book you early morning blood test please ask at reception.

Please note we are currently experiencing some issues with our text message reminder service for the HUB appointments, if at the time of booking you are advised your appointment is at the HUB it will be held at St Stephens Surgery NOT The Bridge Surgery. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are working to improve this.

OUT OF HOURS

If you need medical help outside our normal surgery hours, please call the new free NHS Direct number 111. You will speak to an adviser who will take some details and pass you to an appropriate person to help you.  This might be the Accident and Emergency Department, an out-of-hours doctor, a walk-in centre, community nurse, emergency dentist or chemist, or you might be advised to come to the Surgery when it is next open.  If the adviser thinks you need an ambulance, they can immediately arrange this for you.
